Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Norrrent. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before renting a car with us. By booking or using a vehicle from Norrrent, you agree to the following terms.

1. Rental Requirements

  • Minimum driver age: 21 years (25 for certain car categories).

  • A valid driving license held for at least 1 year is required.

  • An additional valid ID (passport or national ID card) must be shown at pick-up.

  • Only the driver(s) listed in the rental agreement may drive the car.

2. Rental Period

  • Rentals are based on a monthly agreement unless otherwise specified.

  • Extensions must be requested before the end of the current rental period.

  • Norrrent reserves the right to recall a vehicle if terms are violated.

3. Payment & Deposit

  • Payment is made monthly in advance.

  • A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in proper condition.

  • Late payments may result in additional charges or termination of the rental.

4. Insurance & Coverage

  • All rentals include basic insurance (liability, theft, and damage coverage).

  • Deductibles apply in case of damage or accident.

  • Optional extra coverage may be available upon request.

5. Vehicle Use

  • The car must be driven in accordance with Swedish traffic laws.

  • Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

  • Pets are allowed only with prior approval.

  • The renter is responsible for fuel, tolls, parking, and fines during the rental period.

  • Unauthorized off-road driving or use outside Sweden requires Norrrent’s written consent.

6. Maintenance & Breakdowns

  • Regular service and maintenance are included in the rental price.

  • In case of breakdown, roadside assistance is included.

  • The renter must report any damage or issues immediately.

7. Vehicle Return

  • The car must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location.

  • The vehicle must be in the same condition as at pick-up, except for normal wear and tear.

  • Extra cleaning fees may apply for excessive dirt or smoking.

8. Termination of Agreement

Norrrent reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement without refund if:

  • The renter violates traffic laws or these terms

  • The vehicle is misused or driven by unauthorized persons

  • Payment is not made on time

9. Liability

  • The renter is fully responsible for all damages not covered by insurance.

  • Norrrent is not liable for any loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be settled in Swedish courts.
